Second deposit in Italy

Big deposit of biochar from grapevines trimmings on the same land of the first deposit, but the amount was almost four times more: 2184 grams on the scale, so let's account that as 2.1 kg of biochar, equal to 8 kg of CO2 sequestered from the atmosphere!

Setting the zero and... go! 2184 grams.

First deposit in Italy

New device tested in Italy this month, making biochar with chopped up grapevines branches. Again it's another Elsa stove, a quite big one this time. The deposit counts for 548 grams of biochar, equal to about 2 kg of sequestered CO2. You can read more following this link.
It's the beginning of a series of deposits that is going to take place on the same property, on the eastern hillside of Udine province, along the border with Slovenia.

Consistent deposit finalized in Thailand

All the biochar produced since the beginning of this year has been deposited in a well protected property north of Chiang Mai. It was collected after cooking over Elsa-type of TLUD stove. All local biomass from various woody sources and bamboo.
The grand total gets over 9 kg... which got slightly wet lately. So taking out even a third of weight due to the moisture (down to 6 or 7 kg) this accounts for about 20 kg of CO2 actively removed from the atmosphere!
"Small" amount still but humbly big in our project, as we grow up the network with confidence.
