First deposit in Italy

New device tested in Italy this month, making biochar with chopped up grapevines branches. Again it's another Elsa stove, a quite big one this time. The deposit counts for 548 grams of biochar, equal to about 2 kg of sequestered CO2. You can read more following this link.
It's the beginning of a series of deposits that is going to take place on the same property, on the eastern hillside of Udine province, along the border with Slovenia.

The biochar, perfectly dried (after river-sand quenching) is weighted on a precision scale than spread out under the same grapevines that produced this biomass... than covered with other mulch to keep the moisture and let it become part of the soil.
