Third deposit in Italy

Triple Elsa stove burn today in northeastern Italy, making again biochar out of grapevine trimmings and few other fallen branches. Smooth dry quenching with river-sand adding up to the previous deposits other 2275 grams of carbon grown on the spot.

Here in the next picture, the bucket on the right contains the sand used for quenching the biochar in the left bucket. As you can see, after sifting the sand out, many small black debris of biochar are still in the sand... but they're not really lost: eventually it's all going to go in the grown. 



It's just out of the scale when we're checking the weight: this means that our listed deposit is always rounded down quite a bit. In the next pictures the new bed where grass and fresh grape trimmings are mixed together.
